- ➤ On Tuesday, the city unveiled its newest teen room at McMillan Park, 343 Goos St, which offers a safe space for local teens to play video games, shoot pool — and relax with bean bags and a bold paint job. The project was made possible with an initial $15,000 contribution from Citadel and reinforces the city's commitment to providing dedicated spaces for youth. The American Press
- ➤ Creole Christmas Market returns to Sulphur this weekend at West Cal Arena on Nov. 29 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The market charges $5 for entry (free for children) and will host Santa's visit (10 a.m. to noon) as part of its holiday program. 7 KPLC
- ➤ On November 26th, Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s deputies filled their vehicles with frozen turkeys and gave them to 100 motorists as part of the annual Turkeys for Tickets Day that replaces minor traffic citations with a festive gift.
