- ➤ Today, KPLC will run its Pack the Tent Food and Supply Drive at Abraham’s Tent at 2424 Fruge Street in Lake Charles — volunteers will collect nonperishable food, cleaning supplies, and warm clothing from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. to help support local families as winter nears. Gator 99.5
- ➤ Flea Fest returns this weekend — featuring a record number of vendors offering local crafts, antiques, and food. Organizers expect the event to draw a large crowd on Saturday and Sunday. 7 KPLC

- ➤ Lake Charles Little Theatre is performing the musical 'I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change' at Southlake Theater from today through Sunday—its first run in 20 years—and the show uses live sketches and songs to explore the highs and lows of relationships. The musical—featuring scenes from first dates to marriage—will run for two hours with performances today and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and on Sunday at 2 p.m., with doors opening 30 minutes before showtime. - ➤ Kedrick Nicholas, a longtime McNeese administrator, has been named interim president as the university begins its search for a permanent leader. President Wade Rousse will resign effective Sunday, November 16th and will start as president of LSU Monday—marking a key change in local higher education. 7 KPLC
