A Cameron Parish judge ruled that state officials did not consider climate impacts and harm to wetlands when they approved the permit for the Commonwealth LNG export terminal, halting its construction.

The permit will be reworked to include environmental justice and climate concerns before work can resume—officials must complete a new review.
