- ➤ McNeese student Evan Broussard started the Cajun French and Heritage Club at McNeese State University to help students learn and preserve Cajun culture and language. The club charges a $5 membership fee and will meet monthly at 6 p.m. (Language Lounge Room 308 in Kaufman Hall) while planning future events like movie nights and a gumbo fundraiser if a sponsor is secured.
