- ➤ The Stars & Stripes Classic Car Show returns to Sulphur on October 18 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at The Grove at Heritage Square — car owners can register from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. while visitors will enjoy classic cars, live music, local food and kids’ activities with awards given from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Gator 99.5

- ➤ Customers at Lake Charles Auto Parts have not received their car title and instead got multiple temporary tags—this breaks the rule that a title must be issued within 60 days. The Louisiana Used Car Commission is looking into complaints as buyers like Latisha Marshall and Addyson Cutting say owner Loyd Johnson has not responded to their calls. 7 KPLC

- ➤ The CPRA reported that $122 million was secured for a coastal restoration project in Cameron. Officials said the funds will support rebuilding natural defenses — a key measure to protect local coastal areas. 7 KPLC
