- ➤ The Lake Charles Police Department has introduced a new robotic K-9 called Spot—manufactured by Boston Dynamics—to perform observations and detect chemicals. - ➤ Imperial Calcasieu is increasing suicide prevention efforts during Awareness Month—executive director Tanya McGee noted that while school programs successfully reached youths, treatment gaps remain for white men in their 30s and older.
