Calcasieu Parish School Board will cover the shortfall in USDA free lunch funding now at 85+ percent by using leftover money from last year's nutrition program so all students get free meals.

Calcasieu Parish’s ITEP Committee approved Indorama Ventures Olefins LLC’s ITEP application with a unanimous 3 to 0 vote Tuesday for its 2025 project at 4300 Highway 108 in Westlake.
