- ➤ Tropical Depression No. 2 formed in the Bay of Campeche Saturday afternoon with sustained winds of 30 mph and is moving west-northwest at 7 mph. The forecast says the system will slowly strengthen—possibly becoming Tropical Storm Barry—and may bring an increase in afternoon thunderstorms to the area as it moves toward Mexico late today or early Monday.
