- ➤ A Vinton jockey, Ricardo Hernandez-Perez, 41, was arrested Saturday at Delta Downs Racetrack and Casino for allegedly using a battery-operated device to unnaturally stimulate his horse — he was booked into Calcasieu Correctional Center after attempting to discard the device during post-race checks. 7 KPLC
