- ➤ The family of Henry Leon Miller, who died in an April crash on the I-210 Bridge, filed a lawsuit claiming that poor lighting—removed after Hurricane Laura—helped cause the fatal accident and that local groups are responsible as work to replace the lights is set to finish by fall. 7 KPLC

- ➤ A group of Southwest Louisiana high school students traveled to Baton Rouge today to meet with state legislators and discuss lowering teen suicide rates through their student-led Peer Initiative+ an organization formed after several teen suicides in the Lake area.
