- ➤ The McNeese Cowgirls clinched their fourth straight conference title with an 11-2 run-rule win over SFA—marking 14 straight league wins before they host East Texas A&M at Joe Miller Field on Thursday. This victory lifts their record to 37-18 as they move into the postseason. The American Press
- ➤ LSU beat Tennessee 12-2 in an 8-inning run-rule game Sunday as catcher Luis Hernandez’s 2-run double in the eighth gave the Tigers a walk-off win to clinch the SEC series two games to one—LSU’s pitchers Casan Evans and Zac Cowan limited the Vols to just two hits as the team tied Arkansas for second in the league.
