- ➤ A Lake Charles man was arrested for allegedly passing counterfeit money when detectives with the U.S. Secret Service Task Force located him at a local restaurant and found over $600 in fake bills along with suspected drugs in his vehicle—he faces charges of monetary instrument abuse, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, and drug paraphernalia with a bond set at $82,000.
