- ➤ Lacassine won a state championship as Maliki Broussard overcame injuries to nearly average a double-double and lead his team through tough playoff wins, while Bell City's Payton Herpin scored 21.7 points a game to earn All-SWLA MVP — coaches Micah Rasberry and Stormy Fortenberry received Coaches of the Year honors.
