- ➤ On March 22, Calcasieu Correctional Center booked nine individuals—most from Lake Charles and two from Sulphur—for charges ranging from drug and weapon offenses to assault and burglary. 7 KPLC
- ➤ Louisiana State Police are investigating an officer involved shooting that occurred Sunday night around 8 p.m. on Barn Stable Drive—after deputies responded to a domestic disturbance—and the suspect was taken to hospital while his injury severity remains unknown; no deputies were hurt. 7 KPLC
