  • Good Shepherd Episcopal Church will host its annual Fish Fry for Haiti on Friday, Feb. 27 at the Outreach House (corner of Kirkman and S.   • LDOTD will close lanes on U.S. 90 at the PPG Drive Exit ramp and on I-10 Westbound west of Exit 30A from 8 p.m. Monday to 5 a.m. Tuesday for rail work. The I-210 flyover ramp will close from 8 p.m. Tuesday to 5 a.m. Wednesday for light poles.  The American Press

  • Calcasieu Parish has begun distributing $1 million from a national opioid settlement to 12 local organizations fighting addiction, following a survey that revealed major gaps in treatment services.
