- ➤ Regulators are considering revising a coastal use permit to let LNG operator Venture Global expand dredging near the Calcasieu Ship Channel (with plans to build an export facility in Cameron Parish) as public comments remain open until Jan. 14. - ➤ Local officials at the Lake Charles Housing Authority say phase one of demolition at Greinwich Village is halfway done with 14 homes removed and six more set to be torn down by month-end, while empty lots will serve as green space as future development plans are considered. 7 KPLC
